The final eclipse of 2025 completes the Virgo Emphasis we have been living from the August 23rd New Moon at 0 degrees to the Lunar Eclipse with the Sun in Virgo on September 7th to this Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees of Virgo on September 21st. The powerful experience of two new moons in Virgo, two eclipses during Virgo season followed by the last degree, a critical degree, being a Solar Eclipse on the day before the Fall Equinox will not be repeated for a very long time.

The Zodiacal sign of Virgo is awakening in humanity at a significantly higher frequency of potential and understanding. The health of humanity itself is integrating with the higher mind of humanity ushering us into a completely new understanding of restoring our bodies to health utilizing our intuitive relationship with all our bodies, physical and energetic. Ancient healing methods and powerful new ones are becoming available to us. This is not “mind over matter” which is a separative idea but mind collaborating consciously with matter – developing a heart centered relationship in which we listen to our bodies, trust their healing capacity, care for them through time in nature, mindful movement (walking, yoga, dance, Pilates, tai chi, Qigong, and more), through conscious cooking and eating (allowing time, pleasure and gratitude),through deep rest at night as well as prayer, meditation, and time for presence before bed, through creative activities (music, art, poetry, crafts, play).

During the last 100+ years we have made exceptional strides in medicine, surgery, psychology, discovering and mapping our DNA, stem cell treatments, and so much more but we have also become overly dependent on the doctor, the pill or the surgery. From Heart Math to Radionics to Energy Medicine techniques, to Reiki treatments, to plant medicine, to Shamanism, we are moving into a new frontier of health and wellness. We can now check our own blood pressure, heart rate, glucose levels on a smart watch or wearable device. The discoveries of these next several decades will offer an integration of individual health practices with Medicine and Healing. It’s an “all of the above” strategy as health costs, pandemics and new diseases that are drug resistant require a more enlightened approach based on trust in our own healing abilities as well innovative new treatments. We can build healthy bodies, strong and resilient immune systems, emotional intelligence and soulful lives of purpose.

Virgo is also the arena of grounded living and working, of chosen daily practices and routines, of service to the purpose of each day. A rested body and mind can choose to enter each day with time for what is most meaningful and needed. Time is one of the valuable resources of Virgo and one of our modern world’s most immediate challenges – who is choosing your day. Is it your conscious choice of what I truly want and will benefit from or your phone, is it doing things you don’t really want to do or being stuck in habits you aren’t fully aware of. Nature, movement, gardening, mindful meditation, cooking, grounding practices are an essential element of each healthy day. How we use the time we have is a core human responsibility.

Work is also shifting during this Virgo upgrade – what do we really want to do with the amount of time most of us spend working each day. It can seem impossible to find the freedom to do what you truly even if you know what that is – step one, what is my true work; step two, what do I need to do to enter that work whether it requires education, time, savings, help from others or just courage. Change is possible.

As transiting Saturn opposes this Solar Eclipse, it’s NOW that old habits, old fears, old behaviors can be dissolved. This New Moon calls us to practical, present, intelligent intentions for active exploration and movement on this Sunday which can result in serious progress over the next 6 months until we meet the next New Moon Eclipse.
