Does it feel like we are living the tumultuous 60’s again? We are! In the 60’s transiting Uranus (awakening, revolution, and freedom) and Pluto (death, rebirth, transformation) met in the sign of Virgo. We faced an old guard and a rising new generational vision/dream for a world of peace not war, of love not hate, of the freedom to be/to live/to dress/to relate/to alter our consciousness as we chose for ourselves. We marched in what became a mass movement against the Vietnam War, against segregation, against being told who we could be and how we could live and love; we marched for peace, for justice, for the Farmworkers, for the marginalized, for joy/dancing/music, for the natural world and for a better world as many chose to alter and expand their consciousness through psychedelic trips and/or meditation and Eastern philosophies/practices.

Now transiting Uranus and transiting Pluto have reached a trine to one another – a time to take the dream of that better world to fruition. A crucial mass movement is again in the streets speaking against the old way of using power to control, to marginalize, to silence, to surveil, to harm individuals/groups/Nature/the world. We have come a long way in the last 60 years – the role and integration of Black, Brown, LGBTQ people and women is integrally woven into all aspects of our society now, meditation and Eastern spiritual teachings/practices are widely available and practiced, plant medicine and ceremonies are accepted as individually beneficial and are offered in professional healing practices, organic food is a multi-billion dollar industry as more and choose organic food and natural healing practices to build health and prevent or treat disease, knowing that the earth is our home and we are responsible for our relationship with her and all her creatures is celebrated every Earth Day as more and more of us integrate recycling, alternative energy sources, cooperatives, preservation of local and natural resources into our everyday responsibilities. The current growing movement is local, national and global.

On September 8, 1966, the TV show Star Trek debuted – Captain Kirk declared “Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. It’s 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds; to seek out new life and new civilizations; to boldly go where no man has gone before! “While the cult classic show was canceled after 3 years, the many future iterations of Star Trek shows and movies are legendary. Since the 60’s when we also landed on the Moon, our rockets, satellites, space stations and high technology telescopes have already and continue to reveal our solar system, our galaxy and the universe itself. Space is opening its mysteries to us including the aliveness of other planets, other life.

As 3I/Atlas, our interstellar visitor reaches perihelion on October 29th we are receiving a message, an upgrade, an evolutionary acceleration moving us forward to an ever nearer unity consciousness. Let’s go boldly forward as the Saturn conjunction to Neptune in Aries (bold, courageous action) joins our human bodies/selves (Saturn) to our spiritual bodies/selves (Neptune) to go where humanity has never consciously been before.
